PF+A’s very own John Hibbs was asked to share his wise words of wisdom at the Jersey College for Girls’ leadership event. Female students from across the globe travelled to Jersey to be involved in the Leadership and Entrepreneurship Accelerator Programme (LEAP), organised by JCG’s Head of Internationalism and physics teacher Peter Le Masurier. During the two week programme the students developed social enterprise projects to tackle key global issues, using their entrepreneurial leadership skills and lessons from the mentors.
John Hibbs shared with the students his Secret of Life talk that has already inspired so many, exploring how our culture has evolved to rely on trust both in business and everyday life. The girls were in awe as their fundamental ideas about money were challenged and a few lucky souls even managed to come away a few pounds richer (or did the money really exist?!).
Over the years, PF+A have built a strong brand and business strategy that has enabled us to be where we are today. It is incredibly important to us that we look towards future generations, educating them not only in architecture but what makes successful businesses and individuals. LEAP shares this philosophy and encourages leadership skills, problem solving and global awareness in young women; we are proud to have been involved in such an enriching event.
