PF+A welcomes the newest addition to the growing Jersey office, Jess Smits, as an integral part of the creative and technical team in the St Helier studio. With her wealth of experience in the architecture and construction industry, we are excited to see what Jess will bring to PF+A. Her enthusiasm alone has already impressed us alongside her passion for improving people’s lives.
Originally born in London, Jess first moved to the island a few years ago and has since worked on countless projects across the island. After stumbling across our Instagram page, Jess decided she was in need of a change of career direction and we couldn’t be more grateful for that moment of serendipity!
“I loved the work they were doing across the Channel Islands and I wanted to find out more about the company. After looking at the website, I thought that's the sort of place I want to work! I could see that they had a real passion for architecture and their emphasis on creating a friendly working environment really stood out,” Jess says. “I thought about why I originally wanted to get into the architectural industry and it was mainly down to 3 things; to be creative, to leave a lasting impression and to make a difference to people's lives. I wanted to not just like my job, I wanted to love my job, and PF+A seemed like the place that would make that happen.”
