Peter Falla wins Lifetime Achievement
Looking back at 2019, PF+A have so much to be proud of and grateful for. Not only did we take on some fantastic projects with inspirational clients, but we, and most importantly Peter Falla, were recognised for it.
The Lifetime Achievement at the Guernsey Property and Construction Awards recognises personalities that have made a special contribution to the island during their career. As our founder and the integral member of PF+A, Pete has spent his life finding ways to improve the lives of everyone around him through giving back to the community, spreading wisdom and providing leadership. He also creates amazing architecture too!
The presentation ceremony in November was certainly an evening to remember, with fantastic cabaret shows and conversation. It was a privilege to be sat among such inspirational members of the property and construction industry.

Co-founder and organiser of the event Julie Todd, said: “This year has seen more customers and businesses involved than ever before. “It is clear from the number of entries for this year’s awards that local property and construction-related businesses take their work very seriously and understand that great workmanship, on time and on budget is essential. It was a wonderful evening for the winners, but all the finalists should be thrilled to have got this far.”
2019 has been a year that will go down in PF+A history. We have enjoyed continued growth and expansion with new faces and a new office! Lots have changed in terms of the managerial roles, with Peter Falla remaining at the heart of the firm, acting as a mentor, senior planning consultant and a spokesperson for the company whilst John Hibbs takes on overseeing the strategy and performance pan-island as CEO. But what remains the same is our ethos and passion; we believe in enhancing lives for all.
