We've had switchable glass installed in our board room.
What can you do if you want a light and spacious office and the privacy of a private meeting room. Why not have both.
With switchable glass that sends an electric current through the glass turning it opaque you can have the best of both worlds.
Tom Bourgaize explains the thinking behind the decision. "We wanted an entrance that felt spacious and light, and connected to our existing staircase in the heart of the building. Providing a glazed wall between the meeting room and this corridor not only allowed light in but gave the impression of space. We complimented the space by installing roof glazing above the stairwell to allow natural light to flood into the heart of the building. The main thoroughfare in and out of our office has been transformed from a dark space into the light and spacious place we envisioned."
